Muriel Anderson's Acoustic All Stars a huge success.

Muriel Anderson brought her "road show" version of her very popular All Star Guitar Nights to Baton Rouge and called it Acoustic All Stars Guitar Night. Included in the billing with Muriel was Richard Smith and Thom Bresh. What an incredible evening. There was something for all musical tastes with Muriel's masterful and beautiful harp guitar performance, Richard's amazing, seemingly impossible playing, and the vocals, humor and incredible picking of Thom Bresh. The show started with each of the performers playing a solo set of about 20 to 30 minutes each. After an intermission, all three perfomers were on the stage, and jammed for the rest of the evening. The audience was very enthusiastic, and brought them back for two encores. It was an evening to remember. Here is an email sent in by one of the folks who attended:

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your show. It was absolutely amazing. I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it. I thought it was really unique that the artists shared their techniques with the guitar players in the audience. My friend John, who attended the show with me, was in such awe it inspired him to want to take guitar lessons. I have no doubt that this show and your program will grow larger with continued success because, I don’t know how anyone can see this performance and not spread the word. Bravo!!!"
