Our Background.
Guitar Dreamers was founded by Carlton Jones, a well- known guitar collector and musical enthusiast from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Carlton, who is in his mid 50’s now, has been an avid guitar player since he was 10 years old. Although never taking his playing on the road in a professional sense, he has remained active, writing original, contemporary Christian music with his wife, Sharon, performing at local churches and functions, and pursuing his dream of guitar collecting. Guitar Dreamers, LLC is a proud member of NAMM (National Association of Music Merchandisers), and attends both major NAMM shows every year along with the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society conventions and other guitar related gatherings, including an annual Vintage Guitar Show in order to locate those special instruments of the past. This keeps us on the leading edge of what is new and coming in the world of acoustic guitars, while keeping our eyes on the wonderfully crafted guitars from yesteryear.
